Málpípur

Ég á raus dagsins á Vantrú: Málpípur Gvuðs. Legg þar út frá prédikun sem Séra Örn Bárður flutti um síðustu helgi og vakti athygli í fjölmiðlum vegna þess að hann kemur inn á pólitískt hitamál.

Ekkert sérlega vandaður pistill, en a.m.k. eitthvað. Annars fer Örn Bárður í mínar fínustu, bara svo það sé á hreinu.

Það gleður þig vonandi að vita að Björk er sammála þér... :)

Gaman að sjá hvort hún er enn 'ástsælasti listamaður þjóðarinnar' eftir þetta.

Eitthvað rámar mig í að Björk hafi verið á lista yfir fræga trúleysingja en ég sé hana ekki þarna. Kannski var það annar listi. Hér er hún.

Q: Who does Björk pray to?

Björk: "I've got my own religion, " she concludes, giving her nose a final scatch, poke and lug before heading off for a soundcheck. "Iceland sets a world-record. The United Nations asked people from all over the world a series of questions. Iceland stuck out on one thing. When we were asked what do we believe, 90% said, 'ourselves'. I think I'm in that group. If I get into trouble, there's no God or Allah to sort me out. I have to do it myself."

Ég vona að hún sé að tala um "töfra" sem líkingu, það að upplifa eitthvað magnað og merkilegt.

En þetta ætti að hrista upp í einhverjum :-) Spennandi að sjá hvort minnst verður á hana í einhverjum prédikunum næstu helgi.

Kom mér á óvart að sjá George Carlin á þessum lista. Fannst þetta samt frábær orð hjá honum, vel valin:

In the Bullshit Department, a businessman can't hold a candle to a clergyman. 'Cause I gotta tell you the truth, folks. When it comes to bullshit, big-time, major league bullshit, you have to stand in awe of the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims, religion. No contest. No contest. Religion. Religion easily has the greatest bullshit story ever told. Think about it. Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time! But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes, and they always need a little more. Now, you talk about a good bullshit story. Holy Shit!

Svo ég noti klisju: nnnnákvæmlega!

Þið á Vantrú.net ættuð að gera svona lista yfir fræga íslenska trúleysingja. Þið gætuð byrjað á Björk og Ólafi Ragnari.
